Nightmare

" I stand alone in an endless room that fades into black. I am barefoot with only jeans and a white t-shirt. I am standing on a elegant burgundy trellis carpet that goes on beyond what I can see. The only light is a lantern stuck above the center of the room hanging from a blackened chain. There are two stairwells carpeted the same with thick ornamental banisters. The stairs bases aim out from each other about 60 degrees then arch/turn inward a bit into the consuming pitch black. After a while I notice what I describe as the dark thing. Two glowing yellow eyes shine from the deep surrounding dark. Then the beast attacks it has no form I can identify, other than its eyes and long claws that tear me apart as it charges by me. Its body seems to absorb all light and it moves so fast it seems in a blur... "
